Show Overview

The Snake River, John’s next white water adventure, originates in Yellowstone National Park, and winds through southern Idaho before turning north to form the boundary between Idaho and Oregon. The Snake joins the Columbia River near Washington State, and is the largest and longest tributary of the Columbia River. Listen to John’s white water rafting adventure on the Snake, and his glacier expedition in Denali National Park, Alaska. The Denali National Park is 6 million acres large, and contains the highest mountain in North America, Mount McKinley. Meet Teka, the group’s strong (and female) guide. In this third in the Gonella adventure series, find out why John bought a 44 Magnum before the trip, and dry suit after this trip, and hear his frightening and exhilarating experiences on Yellow Jack Glacier.
